Started in 1929 by Alfredo Flores Sr., Alamo Music Center has long provided high quality instruments and service to the San Antonio area and beyond. The company has passed through the hands of subsequent generations in the Flores family, with Alfredo Flores Jr. growing the business and eventually passing it on to his daughter and two grandsons, Adriana Flores and Zach and Patrick Marr. You would be hard-pressed to find a musician in San Antonio who hasn't been greeted warmly by a member of the Flores family at a time in their musical journey.
In 2021, the company is operating at a higher level than ever. By adapting to an ever-changing economy, Alamo Music has expanded to a worldwide supplier of musical instruments. Alamo Music has also built long-standing relationships with school districts, conservatories, churches, and private music instructors for generations.
